Superintendent, Interior Finish

A well-established interior specialty contractor is hiring a senior Paint Superintendent for its Savannah, GA operation to own the finish scope on a large multi-story hotel starting in the next few months. The company self-performs commercial paint and wall covering across healthcare, multifamily, and hospitality work within a regional radius. This is a field-based leadership seat: run a bought-out paint and wall covering package through subcontracted crews and hold finish quality at scale before the owner walks it. Low-turnover culture, bonus, and a full package including a company vehicle. For a seasoned commercial paint and wall covering superintendent who has run large multi-story work, this one moves fast.

• Anticipated $85K-$105K, based on experience
• Bonus eligible
• Company vehicle or vehicle allowance
• Cell phone and tablet provided
• 401(k) and health insurance (Dental, Vision, PTO, holidays to confirm)
• Relocation – confirm (not specified in this intake)

Overview

• Own the paint and wall covering finish scope on a large multi-story project start to finish

• Hold finish quality at scale, especially heavy wall covering, before owner walkthroughs
• Coordinate with project management and, on the largest work, the general superintendent
• Track manpower and finish schedule across the project
• Report to project management

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Strongly Preferred – commercial paint and wall covering superintendent experience at scale
• 5-10 years minimum of commercial paint/finish field supervision
• Large-scale, multi-story finish experience (equivalent to a high-rise hotel paint scope)
• Non-union commercial construction; experience managing piecework subcontractor crews
• Wall covering depth at scale
• Healthcare, multifamily, or hospitality project experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish a significant plus
